well Tony you have done it now, you will love sitting down to all that new stuff and working with all of the new colors, but before you know it you will be buying more and more, its an addictive hobbie I've been doing it for a couple years and my supply is more than two people would need

again great collection and have a lot of fun

as your boyz learn and tie their own jigs, take their new ties and a camera fishin with you, the smiles will be priceless

    have fun guys

Tony it looks like you have enough material to really enjoy learning to tie. It is a great art to learn and very rewarding when you start catching fish with the tyes you tie. Take your time and enjoy each section you spend at your tying bench. Good luck and congrats! Look forward to seeing some of your work.

I have to get at least 2 more vises, two more bobbins (at least) and two more pairs of scissors or I may never get to tie a jig. This morning, as the boys left for school, they were working out a schedule for this afternoon in regards to who gets to use the equipment after school.

I ordered the kit but then augmented it with stuff I figured I would need. I doubled the price of the kit constructing my own custom kit...

Kind of thought this may happen. I would use the one I have for a bit so you can decide what kind to get next. I would suggest a Rotary vise, but not a cheap one which makes it a bit harder on the pocket book, but worth every penny and I feel sure a lot of guys here will tell you the same thing. My thinking is when you know this is something you will do a long time, get good tools! Oh and have more than one pair of scissors, one for cutting hair and one for the rest of stuff as hair will take a toll on the cutting edge of them.

YES, definitely more bobbins, scissors and an applicator bottle for the head cement (I didn't see one in the kit). You're gonna have a BLAST, especially with 2 boys getting into it too. You're a BLESSED man.
