The collars on the jigs we had were our main complaint and the source of most of our troubles. We have a vacation coming up in a few weeks so my buying is on hold until after that. But my first purchase, after vacation, is going to be some red sickle hook jig heads with no collar or, perhaps, the flared collar mentioned by skiptomylu. And some more flashbou. And some synthetic hair material. And some... Well, you know how it goes.
