    Just wondering if turkey feathers are good for jig making ? My neighbor killed 2 this week.

    Yes! That is where marabou comes from and all the wing and tail feathers can be used. Bag them and put them in the freezer for a week to kill any bugs and you will be set for a while with turkey feathers

    If he gives you the wings you have to open the back edge and get as much meat out as you can

    if you do not want your turkey feathers send them to me they are excellent for making jigs in most of my marabou comes from turkeys.
