GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
thanks, i cant wait to try the rabbit ones out.

The blue and green collared are real nice, and the zonkers would do the local smallies just fine. Nice work Mike.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Nice ties!
They look great. The bottom ones would be killer for steelhead too.
One thing about rabbit though is the hair traps air bubbles when you first get it wet. Squeeze the jig between your fingers underwater to get the air out or it won't look right.
Don't worry, catch crappie.
thanks guys, gonna try them out today. thanks for the tip Shoemoo, i have some heavy hooks i was gonna use to do some for salmon and steelheads, never been after them but im close enough to salmon river and oswego river to fish the runs if i want.

I have not used any rabbit in a couple years, for no reason as the work just fine! Not sure why yours look so wide, maybe you used a zonker for the body too? nothing wrong with that, but crosscut works great for the body and lays more flat.
Still the fish like rabbit! I have a huge supply of rabbit and need to tie some new ones to fish.
Nice looking ties!
I'd recommend tying ones for salmon or steelhead with either Kevlar or GSP thread. They're more expensive but worth the extra cost because they stand up to the fish's teeth a lot better than regular thread. Just make sure you use a ceramic bobbin, because they will tear up regular bobbins.

Those look good Mike. Nice tying![]()
