Need motivation

I haven't been fishing for 4 months, I haven't tied anything in 3. I really need some motivation. How does everyone else break the funk and get back excited about tying when they haven't been fishing for a while.

I just never stop tying even though fishing for me has ended like over winter. However I have guys that want jigs all year long and even when I am not fishing. My funk to try and beat is when I get tired of tying for everyone except me. I like to have enough time to play and do new stuff.

First thing is to relax and don't sweat the small stuff. One day you'll just pick the stuff back up and it will be as you never put it down. You might start looking at fly tying sites and get the juices flowing by seeing a different pattern and adapting it to a jig. That's fun there. Take the kids on a short fishing trip, that will also get you fired back up.
