    Default Spinner or blade

Can someone give me a few ideas on how to make this tie. I have always tied hair jigs and would like to start adding a blade or spinner.

Take a crane swivel, run the hook through one of the holes and position it on the hook where you want it. I usually run the thread through the swivel eye on the hook shank and tie it on really well. After your done - tie your jigs. For hair jigs I'd run the crane swivel all the way up to the base of the head and tie in there.

2 options, both have caught fish for me. Both invole running the crane swivel on the hook, just depends on where you want the spinner to sit. I like them both.

What size crane swivel do you typically use?

I would use a no. 12. Same as on the small pony head jigs.
