    Here are some jigs that we made up the body is wrapped in thread in powder paint . be very careful if you attempt this I use a heat gun and do not get it to high with some practice you will get on to it but I do enjoy a making these jigs.

    it looks very tricky getting the paint hot and not burning the threads

    Wow! I'm impressed. They look great! What did you use to cover the hair/feathers with while painting?

    I only fish on days of the week that end with
    a "Y" ...and then, only if it's raining or not.

    we wrapped the feathers with thread and then I heat the jig but do not overdo it with heat dip it in a powder paint and then put it back over your heat and then you are usually finished then you can go ahead and use vinyl paint for the eyeballs it is a little tricky but once you get on to it it is a breeze I will try to post some pictures step-by-step in the future.
