    very nice skip

I use a #2 sickle in a 1/16 oz jig, I love the slow fall rate and a big hook for the better hook-up

I to love the green, is that a texture powder paint?

    Thanks guys.

It's the illusion Powder paint idea only, but I am not so sure about it and have tried several different colors and some didn't work so hot. It's also too darn high cost for my blood. I like buying my powder by the pound and they only had it is small size. Heck when I got it they didn't even have jars and used zip locks. Also to be honest totally the only part I used on this one was the under coat and the top coat was not the illusion stuff. I never got it to work right yet. I tried several colors and just was not working right. I just need more time to try some other paints. Oh and this kind has to be done in 2 steps and both have to be oven cured so not a fast deal.

I am going to keep working on this with other resources though.

Thank you liftbite and I don't mind at all. Have always helped anyone that ask me and if I didn't want that I wouldn't have the sticky about my tails and little "V,s".

    Glad you like it!

The V,s I've tried using rooster neck hackle and cut the V in it but never get it right! after you cut it where on the jig are you attaching the sides? or top and bottom? I looked at the sticky but I'm doing something wrong , it may be material selection...thanks

You need some nice wide webby Neck hackle first and I usually buy Saltwater Neck hackle even though it cost more than the 3"-5" long stuff. Sometime the short stuff is nice and wide too, but not as often. Plus you get a lot more "V's" out of a 4" to 6" Feather. I cut a tip to lay down first and then I usually put 2 "V's" on top of that so the stems are stacked and I pinch them together and tie them in all at one time. The trick is to get the main tip to sit flat on top of the hook shank, but that just takes practice.
