    Nice ties, Only thing I'd watch when doing feather ties is the thickness of the feather shaft. the dyed flank feathers if large you can strip the fibers and tie in like that. You also have to watch your left and right feathers to have it come out really nice. Did you dye the flank feathers yourself or buy them that way???

    I've also taken 2 feathers about the same size, like the smaller mallard flank, and while leaving the shaft in I turn them towards one another, oriented vertical, and sandwich the hook between them. Sometimes a little trim is needed but once you fool with it some you'll see the possibilities. Good looking jigs Jacket.
