Late night spinners

I was bored, couldn't sleep so I tied these up.



The beads are hematite, not too heavy and make a sleek looking spinner. Paint is powder paint, copper head, purple and candy apple red transparent.

I think the hematite beads give a person a lot of control over how heavy they want to make a spinner. With so many sizes and shapes the customizing options are unlimited.

These are larger spinners for salmon and steelhead but the sizes are endless.

Nice spinners. I also paint the blades I use on my pony heads and really like the results. I am going to have to try my hand at malingering some smaller spinners like those.

Nice work. I used spinners for lots of years and caught some monsters on those tiny baits. Now lets see some good trebles to go on them.

I guess I will have to tie up some actual small ones. These are #5 blades and right around 1/4 ounce.

I have a lot of hematite bead sizes so smaller will not be hard to do.

I'm guessing you used powder paint on those blades, is that right? I've never tried spinners before, I may have to try them out. Thanks for sharing.
