    Well finally broke down and ordered a vise and so e materials to get started. Everything is coming from Robert at crazy angler tackle. It should be here Wednesday at the latest. Here goes nothing.

    I would pick one style of jig and practice until you can tie it in your sleep.

    I would suggest the venerable marabou-and-chenille jig -- simple to tie and very effective.
