Really cool hackle tails

The video shows how to tie what those that steelhead fish call an aero fly/jig. The tail is awesome for adding hackle to a jig that is extended beyond the hook bend.

The finished product can be tied in anywhere on a jig or fly. Parachutes, tails, bellies, over anything and you can do so many things with it. I tied it a long time ago and had forgotten how to do it. Now that I have found it again I thought I would share it.

Interesting, have never see that one! Have to watch it a few times and not sure I know how he tied it in though on first view.

Good looking technique. Just have to make REAL sure you don't let go cause if you do you'd have to use a new feather.
