question for Pup

Pup, I have been admiring some of your ties on previous posts and your blog. Your thread ties are well done and are also different in that they have a real nice minnow taper to the body. Would you mind sharing your technique as to how you get this great minnow shape? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much for your kind words. I don't know that there is anything truly special about my technique other than I pay close attention to my details and try to tie each jig the same way. I do run the craft fur through my thumb and forefinger to taper it for photographs. Rarely do I trim any fur once it's tied onto the hook.

Perhaps, someday soon, I'll produce a video for YouTube which will show how I tie a craft fur jig from start to finish.
