    Default new heads


    A member here sent me some of his heads....so here is the popeye jigs done my way...I spent a little time checking weights and learning...maybe someone has a true 1/64 head I'd like to weight it on my grain scales... it really tells the true story... these are as light as I think I will go, let me know if this don't look like the popeye you've seen...I did put my flash in them...just could not resist LiftbiteName:  popeye light wire.jpg

    Here is one of mine that I have caught a lot of fish on and in same color! This one is a 1/32 o, but not true weight! I have a digital scale and the ones I have that are supposed to be 1/80 are actually extreamley close to 1/64!

    You guys are good!!!! Have been mixing a little tin with our lead have some small scales don't know how accurate have not been calabirated.We pour the 1/48 th oz in the minnow head and the 1/80 th a friend wanted some 1/64 oz to use under a bobber in shallow water around logs just out of the current in our rivers.Great Thread!!!!!

    Thanks Liftbite! Also your jigs look good and I like the colors. They will catch fish I feel sure!

    Jackie53 I bought some digital scales and a 200 Gram weight to make sure they are accurate and I weight every type and weight head I buy just so I know what is real. I think the mold makers are just making molds by size and really don't try to make them so there weight is accurate. My 1/64 are closer to 1/48 and the 1/80 actually 1/66.

    Great work,lb. I like the short thread neck. I think it'll give the jig more life in the water.
