    Default My pics in threads

While I was re-organizing my photo's into smaller folders in Photobucket last night to find them easier NUMBNUTS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! went and hit the wrong button in Photobucket and ROYALLY SCREWED UP!!!!!!and wiped out all my pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had used PB to store my photo's, with CD's as backup, to keep my hard drive clean. Now I have to go search the CD's that have all the pictures on them and play reload. This is gonna take a long time as I didn't name alot of the photo's just posted them - so gonna have to open A LOT of pics and give them titles. Knew I should have bought that external hard drive when I had the chance

Supposed to have crappy weather all week into the weekend - so this will give me something to do (unless I get my 1/2 lb of clear PP in then I'm gonna try some new stuff and fix some old stuff).

Just an FYI, but not sure if you're aware that moving or editing pic on PB will mean the (previously posted) pics will no longer be viewable on the forum. Any deviation from the original link will cause pic failure (and you'll have to re-post them).

Check out Crashplan.com. I use them for all my backups and my customers backups. It's super cheap, supports all platforms, is "automatic" and you never lose a file, ever!

Sorry to hear that! I still have a lot of my photos on my old pc and still need to move some to my MAC. I use PB too, but I have a huge hard drive and an external hard drive the same size and this MAC has this thing called Time Machine that constantly backs up my entire computer! Maybe I will also put a lot on some DVD's!

Hope it come together for you!

Portable hard drives are so awesome for backups. My last computer was on it's last leg, got a portable, copied everything before it died and transferred everything over so easy.

Sorry you have to go through them all and try to repost thing but at least you have them. I am sure there are a lot of things you would never even remember what it was you posted to retake pics if you didn't have copies.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

Fish - been telling the wife for 2 years I should get one!!! But I have all the photo's on CD's so it's just gonna be a job to transfer all of them again, and I'm sure gonna put captions on all of them too!!!!!!!!!!!

Heck, since you have all your photo CD's to stick into the 'puter for viewing, I think I'd just start over taking more pictures as time goes along and load them into PB.
