Spun up these dandies for a trip to the boundry waters near Ely, MN. The top left is a bucktail/Zonker combo I don't think turned out too bad. I hadn't seen it done anywheres, but I like it, and thats the second most important thing. Let me know what you think. Dipped and painted the 1/4 ounce heads myself also. All told, I have about two hours a night for about five days to get them (24, three each) done.

get ready for a full stringer
Quick update; Gave them a try here in Iowa this past weekend. We'd had a serious cold snap/rain and the water temps fell 5-7 degrees on average 'round these parts so the fishing was very slow.
I wanted to comment on how cool the zonker acted in the water. It being tied on the hook side of the jig allowed it to stand straight up in the water when not jigged or moved. Hot pink looked just like an upright worm. I'll def be trying this again. 1/4 ounce is an easy size to tie it to so it'll be interesting to try smaller hooks and different colors. I think black will nicely imitate a leach.
Cheers and thanks for the praise, I broke down and showed my wife the thread I was so honored.
