    Default Back in the Saddle

After a couple of weeks of non stop on the go things are starting to settle down, My mother was in the hospital the garden needed to be planted and crappies were biting. I took care of every thing in that order. Mom got out of the hospital and is doing much better, at 84 we were a bit concerned. It was a infection that took some high power antibiotics to get rid of the infection. The garden is in and growing a few more peppers and eggplant and I am done. Will plant the okra a little later when the weather is even warmer. Crappies were off and on one day good the next day it was pitiful. Have been doing good on catfish and have more catfish than crappie in the freezer,

Hopefully I will be more active on the board that I have been. Need to slow down a bit so I don't get more tired than I am already. When the bream start to bed I will be out and after them. That will be fun!!!!!!!

Good that you're back. Since Valentines day it's been a whirlwind here. I'm ready for things to settle down some.

Sorry to hear about your mom, but glad you able to slow it down a bit now. So hope you can catch the crappie. We have had to fish a lot different this year as the hydrilla is not in shallow water much at all and in water 10' and deeper so the crappie are holding in 12' to 20' of water and I am still trolling my 1/32 Oz. Roadrunners and catching them the few time I have been out.

Redman, sorry I missed this earlier. It's good to see you back, with you and your family doing better.
I know about being busy and not being on as often. The internet and word of mouth has proven to be a powerful tool. I was hoping to be sore mouthing a lot more crappie, but I'm busy making toyz for others. I have been sneaking a little time for product testing though...lol. I will be looking foward to seeing some of your bream pics.
