Default Normally Don't consider Hobby Feathers much, But

A couple weeks back I was in Hobby Lobby looking for more storage boxes like I showed here before and walking y I saw these marabou Boa's that I like the mixed colors so got these two. I think these will work well.

They have a lot of thing that can be used and those look good. I had made an order Monday and forgot to add peacock eyes, well it gave me a good reason to go to HL!!! Picked up the eyes and a few other things. Love those craft stores.

I just loved that they had these colors mixed so I could use them as is. I usually like marabou a bit longer so I can cut it how I want, but these colors were just calling me and they are long enough if I cut them close. Peacock is good from any place, but I have a lot of it already from wholesale suppliers. I also have a lot of just the strung Hurl for making Peacock Herl Chenille as it makes great bodies and fish lone the stuff anyway. I want to do some of that Rope Dub with it so it's made a lot more durable when you can rope it over some wire.

I will as I have not tried them yet, but if they do I guess this will be my first and last from hobby stuff!

I bought a bag from Wal-Mart two years ago and have tied numerous jigs with them. Over the course of a summer's fishing you can note some fading of the color, but not completely faded out.
