Try a black head and black or blue and silver or white, those are real winners foe me. That's nice lookin and should boat a few good ones for you. I've been crankin mine around the brush along the edge of the bank and slow rolling it, letting it fall and helicopter now and then, and getting some really nice crappie. Nice work.

Looks good. Those type spinners have caught many many fish and are over looked to often. Nice work

When you tied in the skirts - did you cut a strip in half then fold it around the hook and tie in??? I bought a big log of skirt tabs and the guy sent me the little rubber circles to stretch but I sure as heck don't want to spend money for the tool to stretch them out.

It might be hard to understand but I clamped the eye in my vise and wrapped the skirt around the collar then I tied the skirt so the strands covered the jig head and cut them to the right length, this one has little less than 2 full width strips and I made 2 out of the halves. I'm gonna try to make a video for you tube, when its up I'll post a link.
