I just bought some Do-it jig molds from 1/32 to about 1 once. Prefer a sickle hook, I think. What size, style, brand and where do I buy them? I usually fish a jig tipped with a minnow.

Always shoot for the moon, if you miss you'll still be among the stars.
Sickle hooks are only made by Matuzo so who ever sells them. hunter says Grandpa Bob's, I don't know since I don't pour my own heads.

I prefer the black sickles in sizes 2 to 6 for crappie. The size 8s are good for gills. The red hooks are good too, but the red color flakes off leaving a gold finish and they're usually more expensive than black. There is also a gold color, but I haven't tried those. I avoid the uncoated bronze, since they're less resistant to rust.
Don't worry, catch crappie.
Stump hunter lead you down the right path with that advise, color is a matter or choice but in my humble opinion sickles are a must......i've had good luck with Captain Hook's Discount Warehouse

The only drawback to a sickle hook is that when they get hung up, they do not bend well, causing you to lose a lot of jigs. Of course, I shoot docks and this is only my opinion. I've tied 100 or so the last few days with sickles, but only because I'm waiting on my other hooks to come in.
It aint how big or how fancy your boat is, it's how many fish you can put in the frying pan!
