I'm just getting into jig tying, so prepare for lots of dumb questions.
My home lake doesn't have much structure so I don't do any static jigging. I troll 90% of the time and cast the other 10%. I usually use 1/16 oz. or 1/8 oz. jigs with soft plastic bodies.
Are there any differences in the materials or design of trolling jigs vs. jigging jigs? I'll pretty much be copying what I see you guys doing but I want to make sure I'm copying the right things.
Many thanks for the advice!
I'm limited one experience too, but if there isn't much structure I go to a bigger hook. Different heads balance different but I can't say which work better.
