    They look great! Crazy, the different sizes that work for crappie. You've inspired me to use so heavier jigs if I can ever get on the water. Redman, I sent you a PM.

    Those are great river jigs. The colors are right and the weight is perfect for fishing the current break where the brush piles up in the bayou mouths. Actually anywhere that has flow and you can't keep your jig straight up n down.

    Thanks guys, appreciate the kind comments! crappie addict they work I promise they do so yes you should give them a shot especially when the winds are up. You will be able to keep contact with the feel of your jig. You never know how many bites you don't feel when that wind has a little bow in your line. Also like I use them sometime, trolling with the troll motor and again the wind is up and very hard to drag a jig behind you that is light and not have a bow in your line, but with something like this you can have it right next to you badly angling back and catch crappie.
