Default Got the first fish of the year.

Fished a minnow jig around brush and stumps in 6-8 ft water under Mr. Crappie Slip float on private lake where I live. Not monsters (10" - 12") but still taste good.

cought more of these little suckers then anything.

Fished a Holographic minnow I tied up being stir crazy these past few months. I'll get a pic up later of it with pattern:

    Thanks,
    Nate.

    Heres the jig pattern:
1/32 oz Minnow head painted with nail polish. Sally Hanson celeb city as base then Sally Hanson strobe light over that.

    Silver and gun metal flashabou

Decorative trim from hobby lobby. Found back in the fabric area. Holographic flashabou tensel type chenille. It does have a wire in it that you'll have to remove. Then I pulled the strands apart cus it is braided with 3 strands.

Good mess of fish. Nice tie Lots of flash just like a shiner. Now that paint job is is good looking never though of doing that. Good Idea. Thank you. Nice that you showed the bottles of nail polish and it had the stock numbers on them. Makes it easier to find the next time I make a run for that.<br>

Thanks every one for the kind words. But really I can't take to much credit. Couldn't do it with out this site or yalls help, pbug, redman, flat fish, skeetbum, ship, and of course skip and all the other guys who have helped teach me how to tie with their knowledge and insight. Heck every now and then I'll see a good tip/idea from the new/younger guys I hadn't thought of.
