Molds and hooks

I need to find a chart or some sort of list as to which hooks will work in which molds. I know what hooks the manufacturer says but I have other hooks I want to use in the molds and can't find any resources for this.

Hooks I want to use are VMC Barbarian hooks and Sickle hooks WITHOUT modifying the molds.

I guess I should be a little more specific. Nothing fancy for molds, just the ones that would normally take regular 630 jig hooks. I really like the steelhead jig mold so if anyone has tried any other hooks in that one it would be very helpful.

There is no chart out there like you want. Might try and post what specific mold and hook and see who has tried to match hooks with molds. There was some discussion in the past . Barlows has the info your wanting. I thought Do-It did too.

I've tried the companies and they tell me nothing. One would think Do-It would have some information but I a blunt NO other hooks will work both times I called and in 3 emails.

They have lists of alternative hooks that can be used in most of their molds? If they do you are better at finding it than me.

Barlows on line shows all the alternatives below when you click on a mold style. Janns Netcraft also lists alternative hooks in a format page. Barlows will show hooks, stick on eyes if applicable, hairs, etc.... They also have it in their catalog.

Well I did find the lists of hooks provided for the mold son Barlow's under the molds. Same lists and not a single heavy Matzuo Sickle let alone a sickle, zero VMC and no listing for any mold other than the steelhead mold for the 32833 hooks. There has to be others that use the hook than that mold without modifying them, and there has to be other molds the 32833 will fit in.

Guess it off to tackle underground.
