    Default What clear coat

I want to coat my jig heads to prevent oxidation. What do you all use for the clear coat.

Yes, Sally Henson's Hard as Nails clear nail polish or clear powder paint, both will work .

Thanks. I have plenty of Sally's from my fly tying vise. Never thought of it.

Will this prevent unpainted lead heads from turning dark? Or is this something that fluxing is supposed to do? Still don't understand the full purpose of "fluxing". I've melted lots of lead over the years making bank sinkers and I thought that skimming the slag off the top was all that was necessary. Thanks for all the help.
