I have only done three dozen or so, but I have some of the jigs I bought from this forum sitting out beside me to model after. I watched a few utube videos and bought materials from crazy angler as it was suggested from this site. It takes me a while to build one, but I know that speed will increase with practice although I will not be selling just making a few for myself and gifts for friends and family.

So here is my latest work for review. I am proud of them and think they look good but I'm looking for suggestions of any kind. Please feel free to point out any and all little imperfections and how to fix them.

By the way my camera is not the best for detailed work.

    Thanks

You catch a fish or two on one of your jigs, you will be buying a couple more tackleboxes to put them all in & you'll find you have more "FRIENDS" than you think!!! GOOD JOB!!!!:Hands Clapping

Looks great, better than most of the store bought ones, A little flash goes along way with them too.. I tie some just like the top right but white head/ hunter green chenile/ white craftfur tail with two strands of flash, Me and a few friends swear by them.. Kiptail looks good in the water too.... but seriously you do good work, cant wait to see more

Well done. Do not drop them in the water. I promise you the crappies will eat them and be gone in a flash.

Thanks all, but not really my first. I tied a couple dozen before I felt like I was starting to get the hang of it.

Did you pour your own heads or buy jigs and do the tying job?
