A good friend of mine who's been tying jigs for a long time taught me his method. Below you will see a few variations of the jigs I've tied with my new gained knowledge. The color schemes are endless. He pours a lot of his own heads, I adapted his tying method to use with over the counter jig heads that are designed with the required long barbed collar. The heads have Gamakatsu hooks and are 1/16. The skirt material is silicone. and the wings are made from vinyl.
Black head, Green wings, Black/Blue skirt.
Green head, Blue wing, Chartreuse/silver metal flake skirt.
Green head, Pink wing, Chartreuse/White skirt.
Green head, Green wing, Orange/Chartreuse skirt.
Green head, Green wing, Hot Pink skirt.
