Default Glow in the dark jig

Back in the day, there was some talk about "brite glow paint". Does anybody care to share what the additives were. I would like to experiment with some if possible and just haven't searched to deep. Something about glow pigment and clear perhaps??? ....
    Thanks in advance,

    Prowler,

I don't know about powder but with epoxy - Janns's has this glow in the dark powder that you mix in. It works pretty good.

Thanks for the PM's guys. The "Super Glow" nailed it! Super Brite, simple and no toxic smell. I added some glow chenille and glow flash. I'm wondering if their "Too Bright".
I also tried the glo-heads with Bob's glow baits he sent me. I think that combination is going to be a winner as well....
    Thanks again,

NP I have been working on a glow jig for over a year. Am trying to do one like Skip ties. He has given a hint if you read some of the old post. I know that Ship has a formula that is good. And I have Ask Skip for more hints but he told me to read the older post. I think it might be a simple thing and I know if I work hard enough at it I will get it. Skips really glow brite as well as Ships.

I really like the simplicity of Pro-Tec "Super Glow" powder paint. I tested it for longevity with no special flash charger. I laid it in the sun and then put it in a dark closet. It was still glowing bright after 4 hours.
I've heard Skip has some mysterious glow paint, but he wants to trademark it or something. I ask Ship what he knew about it, and he posts like I was trying to break his trust or something??? Not really sure what that's all about... I’ve seen some of Skip's old post where he talked about sharing it and perhaps one day he will. NUFF SAID about that subject, now let's tie some jigs and enjoy the hobby!

Sorry Redman. Skips are so much better. I begged and begged him to share the secret with me. He did and I promised never to reveal his trade secrets. I have kept that promise to Skip.

Just getting back from Tampa a couple days back so a little late here. Yes Ship has done exactly what he said he would. He tried his best to figure it out, but it's not easy to do. It took me a good while to figure it out for sure and many phone calls all over the USA to Mfg's of different products. I tip here and a tip there finally got it right. I almost didn't do anything except chase it for months, probably something like 4 or so months. That was about 5 or more years ago. I have often though about go ring it out, but it's hard to do when one works so hard to find it in the first place. I do think if some had not been so insulting several years ago I may have posted it but after the way some acted I just could not.

The best part about my glow jigs is their durability is amazing.

I will still think about it.
