I almost didn't do anything except chase it for months, probably something like 4 or so months. That was about 5 or more years ago. I have often though about go ring it out, but it's hard to do when one works so hard to find it in the first place. I do think if some had not been so insulting several years ago I may have posted it but after the way some acted I just could not.

The best part about my glow jigs is their durability is amazing.

I will still think about it.

It's all good Skip. Why should you spill your guts after doing all of the leg work. It makes it easier to tell people to take a hike if they get short about it. I myself respect people that go over and above to figure something out on they're own.

Thanks Tank, I appreciate that. I feel sure I will tell it sooner or later. I sell them in spurts and not as many as I use to, but I don't push them either because they are kind of a pain in the rear. Lot more time in them that a regular type jig. It's not like some soft plastic one can pour and stick on a hook. I think at the price I put on them it's cheap.

If I get a break later this year I may make a few to pass around. I own one friend some now and just didn't get time to make them until now so guess he will get them soon. It is amazing how bright and lone they glow. If I have some that I am making hanging in the racks and leave, then come back after the lights are off at night there they are just a glowing. All my pics on my web site I took by just sticking my hand under the table with the ceiling light still on.

The cool part about them is fishing in the day time because you know once your jig is down 10 feet or so it's dark anyway and every time you bring it in it gets charged again by the sun.

    Here are a couple pics...

    Skip,

Even knowing your secret and duplicating a few for myself was a royal pain in the butt....however it was fun. I believe I have made an entire dozen in the last five years. Eyesight started failing about then and that was it for my night fishing. I can tell the readers that Skip's glow in the dark jigs are totally awesome. The pictures he posts are only a fraction of what those puppies do under water.

I know how much work you put into developing that product Skip. I know how many months I spent trying to duplicate and replicate it before finally begging you to teach me what you know. I gave you my word as my bond never to reveal trade secrets or to sell that jig to others

Perhaps in about ten years you might want to divulge the process on c.com for others. It would be nice if you could patent it because it is totally awesome Skip. Take care.

Thanks Ship I really appreciate that! I did spend many hours on this for sure and I guess that is why I have always held it close.

Skip as you and I have talk on several different subject it don't mean much if it's given to you. Part of the fun is in the hunt. Still on the hunt for the FVF and still spend time trying to get the formula for your Glow jigs. For a old Geezer like me the pursuits keep me young and my mind active. My opinion is to make them work a bit for it. One does not learn or appreciate something that they don't do a little work for. We have a nation of those takers who don't want to work for any thing and haven't contributed anything and appreciate nothing and want more!!!!! Now where has that gotten us????
