    glad you like the shannon streamer. i made it to work like a fluke plastic. i use paton bohemian chennile on the larger ones, lion brand velvetspun on mid size[ they also make a bright white color] and herrschnerrs bulky chenille.
    i have added a lead strip to theshank bottom but want the fly to sink horizontal. and have added a foam sliverto the body for a floater. i find putting waterproofer on the top of the fly is easier. the green color chennile with red eyes works on pike too. i would use a largereye size on the one you photoed. rich mc

    I like it Skip. I have used bead chain for eyes but they are not as realistic as those. Well done my friend. Some crappie is gonna have a toothache real soon.

    I would have used larger eyes, but only had these in flat ones, but
    Plan on getting some larger ones soon.

    I am not at home so using iPhone and I am not all that great at this.
