can't post pics, but grandpa bobs has a new age chenille that is called winter run blue I think, it's a medium dark blue with silver mixed in, and I use it on marabou jigs with a chart. head and tail. it's killer in darker water.

Ok...yesterday I tied my first blue combo jig. Not sure why...but blue just never appealed to me as a good color for crappie. I hear otherwise from some folks. Apparently , I have been missing out all this time. If you are hot on blue...show me your creations and get me motivated. I have to try this out for myself you know, and need some ideas of what works. Thanks in advance.

This one has been working well for me. Caught a nice walleye on it too. Copenhagen blue rayon chenille I got from crazyangler

I use a lot of blue colors in my jigs and it's one of my favorite colors to fish with. Either the body or tail or both and I like them best in clear water (to me clear water is where you can see your jig about 3' or more down in the water. I favor the lighter blue's but do have a number of dark Blue shades as well.
Here is one of my favorites.

Dont use it much, cept in gravel pits with clearER water, but this is what I'll usually pitch. Looks better with a set of eyes, but I've gotten lazy.
Gabowman,
If it's to your liking I'll tie a couple dozen up for you and head en your way when I get some more eyes.
