    Default How about it?

Anybody have any time they could give me? I have had and order working for weeks and I just can't get life out of the way enough to get any tied. I feel so frustrated that I might be disappointing a customer. I have only gotten 3 of his jigs tied this weekend. I went to fish this morning and couldn't stay more than 2 hours because of time. But I did catch a few. I don't want anyone to do what I need to do, but I just had to vent and I knew you guys have been there before. Soon maybe........

Not to throw any words of discouragement out there, but when ya got orders pending you have to sacrifice. I wish I could hit the water more but orders are coming in and I'm stuck at the bench. There are many times I'd love to say screw it I'm goin fishin, but can't! I feel your pain but customers come first to me! I feel guilty putting them off and don't enjoy the feeling of knowing I should be sittin at the bench! Hang in there, keep in good contact with the customer and if they receive a good quality jig they will be back! I know what your taklin about the overwhelmed feeling is horrible!

    Skeetbum,
Take your customer fishing. I've been in this boat myself and I know there are plenty of others here on the board as well. And yes it is a guilty feeling, somewhat. To be straight up and honest- if you don't take care of yourself, then you can't take care of others. Remember why you started doing the things you do, try not to limit yourself to much with timelines and be straight-up with your "customers" about that. Yea, you might lose some hustlers, but in the end your work will be better and worth the wait, people appreciate that. Not to say blow everything off till your in the poorhouse either. It makes your time more valuable, you'll show that confidence that people draw to. Just sayin

Thanks for the good words guys. Skip, I wasn't looking for help, but thanks for the offer just the same. It just seems that every time I head for the bench I get cut off at the pass. The customer is a good friend and I have had him in the boat recently, so there's no pressure other than self imposed. As I said, I just needed to vent. I'll get a few done today and a few the next time I'm home and they'll get done.
