Sorry that I have not been very active on the forum here for about a week or so. We lost one of our dogs to someone who poisoned him. Keep my Duck Dogs Kenneled. But our dear "Little Man" could and did run the neighborhood. It kind of broke our hearts and set us back a few days.
I did nothing for three days but split wood. Then I decided to have our black Lab Lady Spayed. Was worried sick until we got her back home. All is getting better and starting to get things back in order. Hope to be back to hitting on all 16 cylinders very shortly.

Man that is a dirty shame. Sorry to hear that Redman, I know I would be really hot about that and they better pray I didn't find out who did it.

MEAN PEOPLE SUCK! Our dogs are a major part of our family as well. To lose one that way has to be heart breaking. Hope things look up for you. No apologizes needed.

Terrible news Redman. We keep ours inside more than necessary for reasons just like that. Our 4 legged children. Time will heal, but it isn't going the help the one that caused it. It goes around, and comes around. His turn is coming.

Thats a sorry u know wat guys sorry redman i would find a way 2 get back at him!!!!!!!!!!
It doesn't say much for who did it but I agree that whoever did it knows they did wrong. It's probably best you don't know because it would be hard not to want to do something. I had a big yellow lab & another stray that had been staying with us a few years back. The lab came in one night shot in the back leg with a high powered rifle. The other dog was never seen again. I went looking but realized thing could get serious quick if I found out who did it.
It's hard to believe how attached you can get to those little fellows. I think it's because they're mostly heart. They own us more than we own them.
Someone once said, "we should look to the Lord the same way our dog looks to us."
A coach told me once that no matter how bad his team was playing, when he got home, his dog was always glad to see him.
Sorry for your loss.
