Jigs look good, but I have never tried any like that, 60 degree so let us know how you use them and if they work better then the 90 degree for some method. Last spring we were casting our jigs for the most part and I would like to know if they work better for swimming them. Interesting at least and something I have not tried.

Those are more for casting. Think of them as just a scaled down shaky head. 1/50 and 1/24

I live about one street away from the St. Joesph River and about a block away from the fish ladder. It won't be to long and the steelhead will be coming in to head up river. I plan on swimming these jigs with the help of the river cuurent using a float where I have caught crappie before. That means cast up river and let the current bring float and jig down about 15ft. from the bank over submerged tree limbs.

Yes,the steelhead will show up around the second week of October.I will try and post a picture of the fish ladder tomorrow! Some of the fish will gather at base of dam and try to jump to the top.
