Just curious if anyone knows how to tie a jig that would fall vertically while still sitting horizontal? Instead of falling head first. This would be a deadly presentation if I could figure it out.

Wrap the hook shank with the lead wrap they use for flys or the wire some of us use to weight the smaller jigs. Then just tie your jigs as normal.

Ultra Minnows will stay horizontal. Not sure about how they fall but it'd be worth a shot to see.
