    Really nice ties!!!!!!! I wish I had a scanner at home right now cause I've got an old Vermont fishing magazine from the 1980's that has an article on tying fly patterns on jigs which is really good!!!!! I will get it scanned at work wheneverr they let me go back and get it posted up here.

    Thanks for the compliment. Love to see the article.

    Speaking of flies on jigs. I tied a bunch of mickey finns for someone. 1/2 were buck tail but I cant find any pics of those. Buck tail is a pain when your only making 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" tails.

    I'll post those variations soon.

    Just a horrible picture but I already packed it up for the mail. There is a lot less burnt orange than olive which the pic doesnt do a good job of showing....

    I've tied something similar to this without the palmering and with a variegated dark olive/rust chenille on 1/32 oz head that is suppose to be a crappie killer. Tho, I never fished it personally.
