Default What Good Materials Do For You

Just wanted to share with all the new guys how much better jigs tied from materials made for tying look. This is Crazy's red ruby head/white nylon #2 chenille/Wapsi's white marabou. Sure some craft store stuff can catch fish but once I started tying with nice materials I became a lot happier. Nylon chenille is much better, but I kind of wish that was #3 as it's a touch thin. Also quality marabou doesn't have tips that will break right off at the slightest pull.

It's always better to use good fly tying materials. I don't ever buy feathers or much of anything at craft stores except my plastic bags and other things that don't have anything to do with tying.

    Smooth

100% correct. Good materials cost more but they also last longer than alot of the craft store stuff. Great tie!!!
