there was a thread on another board about toaster oven temps and temps ran 15-25 degrees higher than what the setting was. Get a temp gauge, Walmart and Target carry them for abut $4 bucks.

LOL! This sounds like my issues w powder curing. I have messed around with curing in a toaster oven. Definitely issues with elements heating up waaaay over what you have it set on and then conversely falling way below that temp. I think that is the reason I have stuck to vinyl... I guess i could invest i a better oven too...

ok here is what i have come up with when i do my powder coating and i have had no probs! I first use a fluid bed to powder coat all my heads then i have a temp guage in my little conv oven to make sure the temp stays at 325 deg and then i bake them for roughly 15 min! I have never had a problem with paints changing colors or anything i hope this helps!
