    Default Permanent Trailer Jig


    I wanted to make a jig with a permanent trailer... Hope it catches somthing.

    1/4 ounce black and blue, nylon trailer base

    Did you put a hook in the trailer? I believe you will get a lot of misses without an added hook.

    I agree with what stumphunter said. It looks good but trailers need hooks!

    I remade the trailer and added a hook just in case. here it is...

    that's a pretty good looking bait, wonder how it would work with a small treble hook. probably hang up on everything?

    terrific looks fantastic we have done this in the past we use single hooks for the tail like you've done we've also put the hook I over the jig hook in used a small bead to lock it over a small piece of rubber from a plastic bait.
