    Default Blue Marabou Feathers


    I need some help finding a certain blue marabou feather. The closest I could get is Peacock Blue and Silver Doctor Blue. However Silver Doctor Blue looks to be lighter in some pictures. I just can't tell for sure which matches from the pics I've been able to gather.



    I'm wanting this color blue feather. I think this is a plume actually. Any help as to what color this is and where I can get it would be appreciated. I know Crazy Angler has Peacock Blue, just don't know if this matches it.

    My work filter is blocking your pic. If no one replies back I'll take a look when I get home.

    Blue and purple don't always photograph well. So even if it looks good in the photo it may not match 100% anyway. I got 6 "pink" kiptails and none of them are the same. If you are dead set on a color your best bet is to call or email prior to placing the order. In my experience, Wapsi marabou usually runs pretty consistant no matter if it is strung, plume, or bulk/loose.

    Added: I don't shop there but I believe bass pro has an off color blue you may want to check out.

    Looks like Kingfisher Blue to me! I am pretty sure of that.

    Ok, was just told that kingfisher blue doesn't exist in marabou/plumes, but only in hackle and peacock blue would be the blue I'm looking for to get as close to what I have above in marabou. Just wanted to see if any of you know anything different than this or if this is 100% accurate.

    well skip talking about blue my darling fiancée wanted me to paint my walls some our bedroom powder blue or pretty close to it. So now I have a bedroom that looks like a baby's room. No I am not posting any pictures of my pretty blue room because you guys would try to match it with marabou.

    Looks like they are just calling it Blue on places that sell Wapsi like Crazy Angler or Barlow's. I don't care what they are calling it now, but this is Kingfisher Blue if the picture is right.

    I've dyed a lot of cream colored marabou with "evening blue" RIT and gotten that blue.
