    Get Strung Blood Quills.

Mini you can use on little jigs like maybe 1/32 or smaller and on flies.

Sometimes stems are extreamely tiny and skinny to the point they don't hinder action enough to really matter, butt most I take the stem out and I don't cut it off I pull it off a bit at a time and stack it. I never cut any of my marabou to get it off the stem. I cut that same end after I know how long I want it just before I tie it in.

Those look much better than my first ones did. I still ain't great but reading what skip and ship advise have really helped me. Times 2 on watching YouTube videos. They helped me understand what Ship and Skip were talking about. Keep after it and it will get addictive.
