I would check barlows, janns netcraft, or cabelas. you can prolly find the spoons for less than a dollar each then just get some trebbles and splitrings.

does anyone make their own spoons? i have been drifting with the wind dragging spoons, and been catching the crappie like crazy, but i only have two or three and im sure ill lose them in brush sooner or later. i started with a swedish pimple, but lost it then had a kastmaster type, then a large gold spoon. so it seems as long as it wobbles some and has some flash they love it.
does anyone know how i could make some cheap effective spoons? or anyone sell some that are cheap. i cant stand buying them for 3-6 bucks a piece, when i am drifting over brush and get hung up pretty often.

I only fish on days that start with T, like tuesday, thursday, today, and tomorrow.
Also check out lurepartsonline (formally stamina) tiny spoon and worthco, and hagens in addition to the above.
I seen a guy that would buy silverware (forks and spoons) and use just the handles and grind then smooth to make kastmaster style spoons and then put that spoon flash sticker stuff on them and they were beautiful. Seems like a lot of work making spoons without a sheet metal press to make money off of. But the Lakes lure company will make a die for stamping your own logo on spoons you buy in bulk which is kool.
Don't passs up the old ones at yards sales and flea markets. Most sellers will almost give em away cuz they're ugly. Sand em with fine grit and paint em, put stripes and eyes and whatever. I use pearl white ones sometimes. Haven't tried but you could probably powder paint em also.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
how big of spoons you looking for?
