I think thread there's nothing wrong with thread bodys... because its the skirt that entices the fish to bite and the color of the body... unless they seem to like a softer body to bite... but then its already in there mouth by then so it wouldn't matter?... And plus all the main crappie jig stores online sell thread necks too.
