Thanks everyone, Hopping tomorrow to load up on them too. Going to a state lake that is over stocked with black crappie in the 5 to 8inch range. The Park rangers are asking fishermen to "Harvest this over abundant resource" this year.

Soooo I'll have to try some of the RonDon Jigheads I ordered from him. Tying up jigs on them tonight for tomorrow.

Anywho I'll let yall know how good/bad I do.

    Thanks,
    Nate.

awesome!glad you got a hold of some crappies!my first this year was 2 weeks ago.i just put em all back even tho i did get about 4 nice big ones.i figure, let em spawn for now,and then i will get at them later after trout season opens and that lake is open to fishing starts.

Well the report isn't good. All we cought was small bass and a Tiny gill. Used everything in our boxes and then some. But everybody we talked to said the same thing sooo. We had a cold front come threw last week and I'm thinking that set the Crappie back.

But a bad day of fishing is better then a good day at work.

    Thanks,
    Nate.
