tied a couple with it but at this point I must say I like it so far. It is constructed well and I think it will make tying more fun and give me the ability to do more. I am a newbie at it but if it makes it a little more simpler for me, then I am all for it

thanks for the input maachu...this is what we are wanting novice jig tiers. That way we can see what is easy for them to use, so when questions arise they can be pointed in the right direction

you guys that are serious tyers that sell to the public, I wouldnt want you to give a way any of your secrets but it would be a big help to me if when you post a pic of a jig you could break it down as to what material you used and what it is called. Like chenille and I am wanting to figure out how to flair the hair out on the end of the jig and just little pointers that you guys take for granted and have come to do naturally, again I wouldnt expect you to give away your secrets, just share what you could that would help us

    thanks

There are several "How to" stickies at the top of the jig tying forum that will help you with the identification of materials and basic jig construction. Please consider reviewing them. I believe it will help greatly.

Check out jig tying on YOU TUBE. There is more information in there than you can believe. I would also recommend you go the the NOR VISE web site and check out his videos on tying methods on the rotary vise. Those some instruction will apply to your Roto Vise.
