im experimenting using whiteout for base coat painting jigheads before i paint with nail polish.im hoping and thinking the jig heads are gonna stand out better doing it this way because the whiteout drys in few seconds taking less time than painting with white acrylic paint for base.whiteout seems also thicker so i won't need to paint another coat like the acrylic pain.

ok nail polish is done drying, and i took pics of 2 jig heads for comparison.one with the whiteout base coat underneath nail polish and one without any base coat.i have mostly heads without base coat in different colors.i think im going to be using the white out for now on lol here's links to the pics on my fb if you wanna see them comparison | Facebook
i always use a base coat. Except on black, brown, and watermelon..
SO do I, but I use white nail polish as a base then lay my color nail polish over that. BXN are you clear/top coating your jigs after wards? That helps bring color out and adds depth as well, plus adds an extra layer of protection.
Need to learn that powder paint thing one of these days.
I dip mine. But I got alittle secret to how I get mine to do what it does....I took some other day and dipped them then powder painted some. And noone could figure out which was which...I is that durable for me..
