    Just rember; He who dies with the most toys wins! And LedHed you look like a winner to me!! Would like to see a picture of the rest of your collection. Ive got close to 100 do-it molds, but only about 10 Hilt's molds.

    Well some women have a closet full of shoes and LedHed has a closet full of molds. Don't have near that many and the wife would send me to the funny farm if I tried any thing like that. Hats off to you looks like you got all the bases covered.

    As far as Hilts molds I own one a darter shad mold. I like it but as mentioned in a earlier post the handles do get hot very quick. The wood handles on the Do-It molds take a little longer to get hot enought for them to be uncomfortable to handle. If the price is right I would say buy if they cast ok and the hinges are in good shape.

    These are the Hilt's jig molds I have and probably have twice this if you count sinker molds;

    Apology for the hijack. Did you get the molds – what model #s.

    Ph – still owe you one…. Look close at the plastic molds

    Yeah RD – but you have some that I REALLY want

    Sb – waaay too much fun and you don’t have to worry about “its back ordered”

    MG – Got Do-Its + lots of vintage stuff (Herter’s, Ament, Palmer, Lil Mac, etc.)

    Have plastics also. Only do saltwater – lots of big stuff – no injection (no time LOL). Have some Herter’s plastic molds as well.

    Led what Ament's do you have. Any of his custom molds I own two. One a 1/4 oz swimming jig which is a masterpiece. The other was not his best job and now its just a show piece. Hook that I need for it are no longer made. I also own one of his cheap molds but it is in bad shape. Bought it on ebay with 4 others. Only needed one of the 5 and got it cheap. Have seen a bunch of his custom molds when I was in the Ozarks. That man was a true craftsman. Love his work. Wish I were that talented.

    haha Ledhead, it's not a problem. I like seeing other peoples collections. No, i havent bought them yet. If I do, it will be really soon. I don't know if this is the model number but its all i know 16-trout-6 and 32-trout. 6-1/32oz no collar 6-1/16oz no collar.

    Do you have a palmer split shot mold? I've got one and have been pouring like crazy with it but i cant figure out why some of the lead seeps into the cracks. Alot of the weights end up looking like flowers. Could this be because the brass blade is too thick? It's not the original one. Also, has any one tried to cut the handles off and bold on something that stays cool longer? The split shot mold is a tiny little thing and get too hot after 4-5 pours.

    Only other person that I have knowledge of that could stand next to Ament is Flatfish46 of this board. He runs Crazy Angler and is a good master Machinist. Made some drive pins for me that are better than I can buy from the factory. I know he has made molds for several members on the board. He makes both for lead and for plastics. Take a look at his Slab Bandits.

    Can anyone give me some info on a Ament mold ? Best I can tell the number seems to 321, it has three cavities, it's a horsehead or ponyhead type bait. Would like to know the size and hooks that should be used.

    That is an impressive collection when you consider these are all one brand and he has a lot more? LOL

    If you count all brands about how many you got?
