Those flat sides are perfect for stick on eyes. The 3D eyes also work great on them. Fantastic looking heads.

I really do like the jig heads. It would be easy to put eyes on them.
I intentionally made them to put flat eyes on them and to have a smaller side profile. I was looking for a toaster oven today so i can powder paint some up. I already have a few eyes to try. I also wanted smaller hooks for when i wanted a really small profile like the 1" panfish sliders and did not want to big of hooks sticking out the back and ruining the action of the tail. I made the mold around mustad 32746 hooks so they fit pretty good. I also made the mold never having poured a single lead lure ever and completely designed by me manually without the aid of cad software. They will all pour easily with #2-6 and probably one more size smaller and larger but i dont have any to check. The collars are offset so plenty of the eye sticks out the top of the jig head with a #6, made smaller than normal jigs specifically for smaller plastics and with smaller and offset barbs so although there is an inside barb it protrudes less into the hook gap(the 1/4oz does not have the offset barbs as i recall). I put alot of thought into these before i made the molds. The jigs turned out beautifully. Im interested in getting some black nickle sickle hooks to try next. Cant wait to catch some fish on my own jigs this spring. Im really proud of them.

Hey Robbor,
Great job. I would be proud of them also. I really like the barbs . Looks like they will hold about anything. Are they center balanced ? Be very carefull with that narrow lead pot. A little moisture and that thing could blow all over you. There are reasons why commercial pots are wide to help expel any moisture ! I have been using a Lee Pot IV for ten years and they will rebuild an old one cheap.

Nice job. I used to do something similar 44 years ago. I took jigs and flattened them with a hammer. They were great for eyes and erratic movement underwater.
