I found a complete setup of tying tools and materials. I was wanting to buy it. But im not sure what its actually worth. I need help from some more experienced tyers on the value of the package. Just wondering if its worth what they are asking for it.
Let me know what you think all of it is worth please.
Thanks

Myself I'd go 50.00 Max.
If it's an auction up to 40 or so depending on how much they ask for shipping
Not an auction. Its local to me. Glad I asked. His price was WAY higher.
CDC Members are the best.
Thanks.
Why so cheap? I thought materials were fairly expensive.Heck, the vise would cost SOMETHING.
What would everything you see cost if you were to go order 'em?

I am not sure what all the materials are worth. I have only tied a few Bou jigs and Buck tails in the past. Any others thoughts would be apreciated. Honest values please.
Sorry I dont want to mention the price yet, to prevent swaying any possitive or negative thoughts. Just need help from the more experienced.
Thanks for everything.
Edit** Anyone have an idea what all that stuff would cost if I was to buy it new?
I don't see a lot there and for me the vise is not what I tie with. I am sure it works and all, but what brand is it?
That is not a lot of material and maybe that one saddle cost a little more than the other stuff there, but unless you tying flies that saddle is not something of high need for a jig tyer.
Unless that vise is more expensive than I think I would give a lot. The tools are low end for sure so don't spend a lot. On the books I would pay much if anything for them as they are small and more like a pamphlet looking and you can get all you need on the internet at places that have fly tying all laid out for you and each thing in jigs they show how to use the different materials you will use. Plus there are a ton of video's on here now. I still like the Beginning & Intermediate fly tying course by Al Campbell at FAOL.

If I didn't have anything, I'd go higher than that. The barred hackle alone is $16 or more and shipping would be an issue. The tying station is handy if you put up and take down, or just want to organize some. It's hard to price someone else' stuff. The question really is(I think), What's it worth to you and will it get you off the ground. Tools look OK for starters, and plan on buying a GOOD pair of scissors no matter what you buy in a kit. My big question is; does the pool table come with it?
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Well he was asking $200.... I thought it was HIGH. REAL HIGH!!! I just didnt know how high. When I seen it I was thinking $75 for everything. Then he told me his asking price. I havnt repiled to the email. I wanted to ask some more experienced tiers first.
Thanks for all the help.
I would give him 60 tops about the price of a starter kit.
