What he said. I use the tip for the first, and if the next section isn't too stiff I cut another. Then I cut 1/4" sections that come out looking like a v. Tie these to the shank, letting them add bulk to the front area of the jig. I sometimes get a feather that is a bit wider than usual and use just the v's for the jig. Works great on 1/32 and smaller. Be patient and think the jig thru before you begin and you'll get some good ideas come to light. Skip has some video's stickied up at the top of the page that might help if you want. I keep my chenille down to about 3 turns and it looks good and doesn't use too much material. Looking good so far.
